First Annual Veterans Film Festival in Bozeman, MT

We have some great short films lined up such as the new, yet to be released, Heroes and Horses film ‘500 miles.’ Take a peek at the trailer here! www.500milesproject.org/teaser. We will show short films from Warriors & Quiet Waters, Semper Fi, Boot Campaign and more.

We will discuss TBI (traumatic brain injury) and PTS. Is TBI being misdiagnosed as PTS? How do you determine what causes memory issues, insomnia, anxiety or depression? Do you struggle with Tinnitus? Please stop in and listen to Dr Michael Ferrell’s thoughts & research on treatment for TBI/depression/PTS. Dr Ferrell has a unique background as a Navy SEAL and now orthopedic surgeon with a drive to help our Veterans. As of June 2017 Dr Ferrell brought rTMS to Bozeman. “Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation” (rTMS) can be an effective treatment option for post-TBI symptoms. And he has made it possible for Veterans to obtain treatment at no cost.

Interested in learning more about your Veterans benefits? Kelly Ackerman, Program Manager from Montana Veterans Affairs will be here to answer your questions on navigating the VA systems and benefits.

Did you know you can use your GI Bill to attend saddle making school in Belgrade? Montana Horseman saddle building school & MSU Veterans Support Center will be here to discuss options for your GI Bill.

Have you been thinking about starting a business? Nate Wiens from Bunker Labs can tell us about this national nonprofit that helps Veterans, their spouses, and active duty service members start and grow businesses.  Hope to see you there!
